Be unique…don’t steal from your competition!!!

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

I just happened to have a friend direct me to one of my so called competitor’s website. They literally stole the photo pose my former partner and I had as well as some wording…verbatim. People, be unique. Look inside your OWN passion or hone in on precisely what it was that made you go into business for yourself, furthermore, zero in on what made you better than your competition. I know if anyone goes to this so called competition’s website and they’ve been to mine, they will know who it is. So cliche it’s sad…be true to yourself and your consumers, you will NOT go wrong, in fact, you will produce winning results and feel good that it was all your brilliance, and not your competition’s.

What do you think about the local political ad campaigns?

Thursday, October 1st, 2009

Personally, I think they’re a joke. I mean really? It’s gone beyond mud-slinging hasn’t it? For once, just for once, I wish the people responsible for these hideous ads would stop seeing the voters as total idiots. Shame on the creative teams for sinking to that level and double shame on the decision maker that approves these ads…whom by the way, are mentioned at the end of the ad. It’s actually offensive…seriously.

Hey, here’s an idea…why not create a political ad campaign that just gets to the point. I mean, let’s just straight out list the pros and cons with the creditable sources to back up the claims and let the public decide. Straight forward truth goes a long way. Silly, childish bashing, not so much. If you’re a politician and you need a great, truthful and creditable angle… http://www.wordspreadmedia.com

Please share your thoughts on these local political ads you’ve seen on TV. Your favorites, least favorites and just your overall thoughts. Just comment your thoughts on this blog. Thanks, hope to hear from you soon!
